My first day blogging!

Hi All!

This is my first day blogging and I'm not really sure how disciplined I'll be about it. I want to keep an ongoing account of the struggles and excitement of writing my very first novel.

The story has been floating around in my head the past 20 years. About 10 months ago I came to the conclusion that any story that is that persistent deserves to be recorded for posterity.
I am not a published author and obviously this is my first work although I was a bit of a celebrity a few years back in the erotic fan fiction circuit. if you don't know what erotic fan fiction is DON"T ASK!!! LOL

As someone who always danced to the beat of her own drummer (in her own head) It makes perfect sense to me that the lead character of my ultra-erotic romance would be none other than Vlad the Impaler! Yes folks, the real Dracula like you've never read about him before! (And let's face it, how many of us have read about the real Vlad III???) Although my novel is historically based, I fill it with fanciful notions and it will have a supernatural ending. I'm not writing a history text book but erotic fiction based on a historical character! I love all the characters dearly and they have been a part of my life for so long, I feel like they're family!

I plan to add updates on my progress and information often as real life obligations like family and work will allow. I look forward to making some blog friends, and welcome comments and feedback. just don't tell me Vlad is a sick choice for a romantic lead i already KNOW that! :)
